Organic Potatoes

Everyone’s talking about organic food, not least us.

AgroFresh is one of the most important organic potato marketers in Austria.
In collaboration with about 50 organic farmers, we supply packing houses in Germany and Italy with organic potatoes from Austria.

However, for local supermarkets, we also wash and package the produce ourselves.
This means we can offer our customers the advantage of being directly on the farm, and being able to offer sufficient quantities with no intermediary trade.

The main variety in Austria is the Bio Ditta. It can be stored and is the most common and versatile table potato.
We also offer organic new potatoes from June.

If necessary, we can also organise the importation of organic potatoes from Italy, Egypt, and other countries.
If the local produce is not enough, our customers can rely on secure quantities of supplies throughout the year.
